Houses are quite expensive and not every person is able to buy it. However, loan was created to support people in such hard situations. Wed 31-Aug-2011 12:29

The loans are useful for guys, which would like to start their own business. As a fact, it's not really hard to get a commercial loan. Thu 17-Nov-2011 22:50

Stuart had 24hrs with him for his next connecting flight back to New Zealand so we decided to pick him up from the airport for the night and take him around for a short/cramped tour of SoCal.

Winter Holiday 2009 - Yosemite National Park II

Food is pretty expensive inside the park itself so if possible pack some sandwiches, snacks and drinks. We only had some turkey and egg sandwiches that we bought at the store in Curry Village. Pretty nasty but enough to hold our hunger until we go back down to Oakhurst where there is Del Taco. Gotta know where to spend the money.

Public restroom inside the park? 1 word, gross! The first that we stopped at was the 1st one after we paid at the park entrance. Maybe about 10-15min drive (I could be wrong on the time) and when I went in, there was dried poop on the floor. As I was leaving, a cleaner went into the room so I figured when we stopped again on the way down, the toilet would be clean. Well, I was wrong. There was a tissue on covering the dried poop though!

But whatever you do, please try your best to avoid the one near Bridal Veil Falls. It was beyond nasty! You can smell the toxic urine like 20-30meter before you even reached the toilet. And it was winter. Can you imagine if it was in summer?

Winter Holiday 2009 - Yosemite National Park

This winter, we wanted to go somewhere. At first it was supposed to be Big Bear Mountain but then we decided to go to Yosemite National Park instead. It is about 5-6 hours from Orange County. And we made the right decision. It is a beautiful place and I know that we will definitely go back. It is worth all the drive.

Deciding on where to stay is as usual not an easy task. Location, price and hotel/room condition is always important. Upon recommendation from a friend, we booked at Best Western in Oakhurst about 15min drive to the south gate entrance of Yosemite. I would say that the hotel is pretty comfortable. The hotel itself is very unique. Instead of 1 building, all the rooms are on different buildings on different levels. It even has an indoor pool.

Our room is pretty big and has 2 queen size beds, clean bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tv and a 'balcony'. Food and shopping are conveniently located within 5min drive. There are fast foods, small restaurants, shops and a supermarket. Which is something that you wont find if you stay inside the park itself. Food is very expensive in the park. We just bought a sandwich each from a store at Curry Village which after 1pm is half-price but you have to tell the cashier that since she doesn't know. Do not expect too much from the sandwiches though. They are pretty nasty.
